Our story began in 1989 with Gegra d.o.o., founded by Vili and Darjan Korošec. From the first business programs grew a Slovenian family company that develops and maintains business systems for more than 1,200 users.

The beginnings
Vili and Darjan Korošec found the company Gegra d.o.o. Work begins on the first business programs for Slovenian companies. The foundations of our company come from this period: reliability, traceability, accuracy.
Nearly 30 years of development
The company evolves into Softbase. More than 50 connected applications are developed — from payroll and accounting to manufacturing, construction and document management. The number of users surpasses 1,200.
The next step
Darjan's sons, both graduates in computer science, continue the development of the company. Alongside the proven desktop core, new web and mobile applications are being built. The philosophy remains the same: understanding the process, personal contact, and a reliable system.

Technical support
He has been performing one of the key functions in the company for more than 20 years — leading technical support for clients. He knows the systems, agreements and specifics of long-time users, so he is often the first point of contact when clients need help.

Founding of Gegra d.o.o.
Vili and Darjan Korošec found the company. They prepare the first business applications for Slovenian companies at a time when computerised business was just becoming the norm.
Transformation into Softbase
After years of development the company is given a new name and identity. Through an intermediate period as SRC-IPS, it is transformed into Softbase d.o.o., the name under which we still operate today.
Manufacturing solutions
We develop specialised solutions for manufacturing companies, including support for VDA and JIS standards, which are important in the automotive supply chain.
Construction solutions
We develop a system for the construction industry: cost estimates with norms, construction logbooks, payment certificates, a construction laboratory and support for concrete plants.
Web and mobile applications
Development expands to web solutions, B2B/B2C stores and mobile applications for workers in the field: time entry, leave submission and invoice photographing.
Generational change
After nearly 30 years at the helm, Darjan hands over the directorship to his son Jure, while Jaka serves as procurator. The new generation continues development with the same fundamental principles.

A developer must understand the business process before starting to build a solution. Without that the system quickly becomes dependent on individual interpretations and temporary fixes.

We do not close development simply because the contractual checklist is complete. We close it when the system supports the purpose for which it was deployed.

We choose technology by stability, maintenance and usability. The goal is not to chase every buzzword but to build systems that will be useful long-term.

We develop on our own framework, so we have more control over the solutions. This reduces dependence on external suppliers and enables long-term maintenance.
